Hol Chan Snorkel Tour
This one day trip takes you to three different snorkelling sites to explore the underwater grandeur that is the barrier reef. Hol Chan Marine Reserve is the most popular snorkeling destination in Belize and your first stop of the day. Since no fishing is allowed in this area it is abundant with sea life. From angelfish to green moray eels this area is home to hundreds of varieties of beautiful sea life.
Next stop will be shark ray alley. Locally known as the aquarium, this is the shark and stingray city of Belize. This gives snorkelers a prime opportunity to swim with the harmless Nurse Sharks and Southern Stingrays and to get acquainted with these magnificent creatures.
Finally, end the trip at the Coral Gardens. With the crystal clear water, looking through a diving mask will take you to a world of colour. Like an underwater rainbow the colours range from pale pink to flashy red, deep purples to flamboyant greens and a multitude of colours in between. From June to September there is a chance manatees will be joining you in this area.
Sunset Cruise
There is a magical beauty to the Caribbean Sea at sunset and under the light of the stars and moon. Enjoying this by magic by sailboat is an experience not to be missed.
The cruise starts approximately 45 minutes before the sun is due to set. You will sail along the front of the island cutting through the split to watch the setting sun. As the sun finally disappears below the horizon, stars light up the sky and sea below. The trip will last approximately 2 ½ hours and includes snacks and beverages.
Blue Hole
The Blue Hole is a World Heritage Site and home to hundreds of species of marine life. This full day tour will allow you to experience what is considered one of the top diving locations in the world.
This is a full day trip which leaves around 530 am due to a lengthy boat ride. Returns back to the island at around 4 in the afternoon. This trip is a must do for SCUBA enthusiasts. Must be PADI certified to book this tour prior to arrival. Documentation of certification is required. Trip includes lunch, equipment and three dives.
Kayak
Take as little or as much time as you like exploring the island via kayak. The barrier reef serves as break for the island so waters are generally calm and easy to navigate. Kayaks are available for rental by the hour if you want to relax and explore on your own. Full guided tours are also available.
Fishing
For our angler friends, half and full day trips can be arranged with the opportunity to land a variety of fish. Enjoy a day at sea with a professionally guide fishing excursion.
Water Sports
For the action enthusiast a number of activities are available. Rent a jet ski and explore the area by water or try your hand at kite surfing, wind surfing or paddle boarding. Professional instruction is also available for these activities.
